A pharmaceutical company based in Nanjing, a unicorn enterprise in the industry, serves as a key global provider of life science research, development and manufacturing services.
The client intends to launch an intelligent project to improve staff safety, productivity and flexibility. This will allow human employees to fully concentrate on research and development as well as production, freeing them from handling and transporting tasks, so as to help the enterprise compete more effectively.
Project Requirements:
1. Dosing equipment shall be installed on robots with temperature controlled between 45℃ and 50℃, and PLC communication is required.
2. Wi-Fi shall ensure stable communication between each dosing robot and the central SCADA control system without disconnection or communication failure.
3. A comprehensive scheduling system with real-time communication can be adopted for the entire system.
4. There shall be no signal blind spots or communication failures between workshop APs and client terminals.
5. The factory’s external network and corporate internal network shall be controlled and managed in separate layers to avoid mutual interference.
In response to the client’s requirements, we have proposed a solution integrating MiR100/500 robots, customized dosing equipment design and 5G network deployment. A total of 9 autonomous mobile robots including MiR100 and MiR500 models have been deployed in the factory’s dust-free workshop to optimize the internal logistics transportation system, enhance transportation safety and improve operational efficiency.
