A solution combining PLC and distributed IO modules was proposed in response to customer requirements. Siemens S7-1200 PLC is deployed on site, paired with Zero-point CN-8032-L network adapter supporting the Profinet protocol, followed by Zero-point IO modules. These IO modules are externally connected to on-site sensors and actuators. The PLC collects and analyzes data to sort on-site parcels rapidly, efficiently and precisely.
